E12 lamp cap gauge, screw thread gauge 7006-27H-1
PURPOSE:
To check the maximum dimension of the screw thread and dimension T1 minimum of E12 caps on finished lamps.
TESTING:
When the cap on finished lamps has been screwed into the gauge as far as it will go, the centre contact shall touch surface X. When the lamp is being removed from the gauge, at least two full turns shall be required to disengage the threads. This gauge should be used only in conjunction with the gauge specified on sheet 7006-27J.
